Non-cooperative and Non-denominational

Emmeline Preschool is 100% non-cooperative and parent participation is optional.  Although we are non-denominational, the Preschool observes the same common dismissal and holidays as St. Luke School.

Our Philosophy

​

The philosophy of Emmeline Preschool is to provide each child with an opportunity for development in a caring and happy environment. Consideration is given to each  individual child's needs, interests and abilities to foster social, physical,intellectual, emotional growth and facilitate a love of learning.

Parent Board

​

Emmeline Preschool is run by a volunteer parent board.  All parents are encouraged to participate on the board by taking on vacant positions or simply by attending monthly meetings.

Class Requirements

​

All students registered must be toilet trained (no pull ups).

Generally children entering Kindergarten the following year is advised to enroll in the 3 day class sessions.

 

Children must be 3 or 4 by December 31st to be enrolled in the appropriate class sessions.

Emmeline Preschool will accept a maximum enrollment of 16 children (subject to change) per Monday/Wednesday/Friday class session and 12 children (subject to change) per Tuesday/Thursday class session, which are filled on a first come first serve basis.  Acceptance is confirmed when completed forms and fees are submitted.

Scholastic Book Orders

Each month you will receive scholastic book order forms. The books are in ex-pensive and a great way to engage your child in literacy.

Orders usually take 2 -3 weeks to arrive . The school receives up to 30% back in bonus bucks that can be used to purchase books, learning materials, teacher resources and many other items.

​

All cheques are to be made out directly to Scholastic Canada. Scholastic Canada also has a way for Parents to pay online with a credit card.
